Ms. Payne has over 25 years of experience working in higher education. She started her career as a librarian where she spent 11 years as a Director of Library Services. In this role she oversaw the library staff, managed the library budget, physical and virtual collections and assisted students and faculty with their information and research needs. She has taught in the online environment and understands student learning styles, teaching methodologies and curriculum design. The last 11 years she has been in a managemeutional Effectiveness with expertise in accreditation and regulatory compliance, writing policies and procedures, survey design, organizational process, and operational effectiveness. Most recently she has taken on the role of Chief Academic Officer. She brings her love of process and her belief in the value of education to all the roles she has held. Ms. Payne holds memberships in the American Library Association, and the Association of College and Research Libraries [ACRL] (a division of the American Library Association). Ms. Payne has a Master of Business Administration-Management, a Master of Science in Library and Information Studies and a Bachelor of Art in Sociology.
